Truly a Magical Life Experience
Thank you Shasta and Ian for creating the most amazing space for all. I have never felt more healthy in my entire life. I will most defiantly be joining Shasta and Ian on their next retreat. I’m hooked!
True abundance is living well, and learning how to create whatever is in your deepest heart with ease. It is to not overwork, over think, over stress, overdo.
This is your chance to break through barriers – whether they be romantic, financial, health or career/business– not by trying harder or “budgeting” your life, but by learning the predictable and powerful mindsets and tools of Success Thinking.
All the while replenishing your mind and spirit, and nourishing your body with gourmet fare, Yoga and spa treatments under the Tuscan sun.

And, as if you needed further enticement, luxe accommodations at Villa Il Leccio the perfect pairing to this week of indulgence and exploration
ON THIS RETREAT, YOU'LL ENJOY:
Abundance Creation Mastery Classes
Grow your mind, your sense of possibility and even your inner peace. Shasta and Ian share abundance, wealth and living well teachings to inspire you and assist you in creating whatever your heart desires with greater ease and speed.

These morning sessions will leave you inspired as you soak in the beauty of life and yourself for the remainder of the day…spent in the Italian countryside…It will be hard NOT to be inspired!
Vineyard Tour & Tastings
Tour Ricasoli/Castello Brolio Estate's winemaking facilities and vineyards and learn about the wine process firsthand from master winemakers. We'll also tour Castello Brolio, which dates back to the 12th century, followed by a sumptuous tasting (of course!). Then we'll sip and savor a winemaker's dinner at Tenuta Torciano one evening.
Historical Luxe Lodging
Spend six nights in lavish quarters at Villa Il Leccio, our private retreat oasis in the heart of Tuscany.
Mindfulness Exercises
Learn how to be more mindful and appreciative through meditation, intention-setting & journaling. We'll kick off our week with a led discussion on eating and drinking mindfully--the perfect way to connect our yoga practice to Italian agriturismo.
Daily Yoga
Build body and mind self-awareness and openness through daily gentle flow in the vineyards and scenic patios (weather permitting). Our indoor villa "studio" will provide the unique experience of practicing in a place infused with centuries of energy. Yoga in an Italian villa? Si, per favore.
Olive Picking & Pressing
Learn the ins and outs of olives during our hands-on picking and pressing experience (harvest dependent). We'll enjoy a private tour of Pruneti, while learning about the olive oil making process. Lunch with tastings and wine/food/olive oil pairings to follow.
Authentic Agriturismo
Agriturismo, a combination of the Italian words for "agriculture" and "tourism," is a style of vacationing in scenic rural farm areas. Italians are particularly proud of their agricultural traditions, especially cheese, wine and olive making, and we'll teach you about the history and production of these delights, while tasting everything local, organic and purely Italian. It's a foodie and nature lover's heaven!
Tour of Florence – The Centre of the Renaissance Art + Culture
Experience the city of kings and queens, art and expansion. We have included a tour of Firenze (Florence) to bathe ourselves in the centre of art, culture and literally the birth place of the renaissance.
Cooking Classes
Learn the fine art of cooking Italian staples, including handcrafted pizza and pasta. We'll also make our own gnocchi for lunch during our hands-on tour and workshop at Podere Paugnano.
Villa Il Leccio
Historical charm meets elegance at Villa Il Leccio, our private retreat venue set in the picturesque Strada in Chianti. Explore the Old Medieval Tower, which dates back to 1200, or stroll the surrounding gardens as your gaze lingers over olive groves and vineyards
Nestled amidst swaying oak trees, the villa features a classical Italian garden with roses and lavender, green lemon trees and elegant hedges, seasonal vegetables, fruits, and fragrant herbs, and picture-perfect olive groves. The surrounding vineyards and protected nature areas are home to pheasants, squirrels, deer, and owls that will hoot hoot you to sleep at night.

Not only will you partake of Italy’s finest wines, you’ll get to explore the villa’s Old Medieval Tower House (built in 1200) and learn how to cook authentic Tuscan cuisine under the watchful eye of Italian nonnas and food growers.

Why We Love It Here
What’s not to love about staying in a breathtaking villa amidst the rolling hills and vineyards of Tuscany? From the gourmet food to the perfectly-paired wines, from the picturesque pool to the manicured onsite garden, Villa Il Leccio charms every visitor.

With glass in-hand, you’re encouraged to stroll the surrounding courtyards and gardens, which offer a perfect al fresco atmosphere to relax. FAQs + Room Types
Q: Where are we staying?
Answer: Our retreat for the week is the stunning Villa Il Leccio in Strada in Chianti.

The story of this villa is also the story of the Landi family that has lived there for as many as nine generations. With the Old Medieval Tower House dating from the 1200s, “Il Leccio” was transformed by the Landi family into a Villa in the eighteenth century, and used as a country residence where they gathered during the summer. It became a prosperous farm during the nineteenth century under Emilio, and was finally converted into a beautiful country resort by his daughter, Maria Luisa.

The recent restoration has brought back the original splendor of the halls; almost all have frescoes, making the atmosphere sophisticated but at the same time warm and familiar. A restoration with the most modern technology gives guests the opportunity to experience a piece of history with all the comforts of the present.

The owner’s love for the property makes the hospitality at the Villa Il Leccio a rare find.

Q: Where exactly are we going in Italy?
Answer: We will be exploring the Chianti region near Firenze, with the opportunity to visit many places that are “off the beaten path” for a more authentic Italian experience. Our Villa is located in Strada in Chianti, and we will visit Greve in Chianti, Castellina, Colle Val d’Elsa and other small towns in this area. We’ll be surrounded by rolling Tuscan hills, medieval history, vineyards and olive groves!
Q: What airport should I fly into?
Answer: It depends on what you want to do before or after the retreat. If you’re coming all the way to Italy and your schedule and budget allow, take advantage of it and plan some time in another part of the country. Florence (Firenze) is the closest city to fly into. Rome is less than two hours by train from Firenze
Q: Wait, wine, food, Yoga and Abundance teachings?
Answer: Yes! You can have it all…as in, a wellness retreat and an indulgent foodie vacation combined into one. We believe that food is a beautiful part of life, and we appreciate the Italian food philosophy. We also believe that being active and practicing yoga is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Eating good food, drinking wine, and being healthy are not mutually exclusive. We will kick off our retreat with a led discussion on eating and drinking mindfully. On to the next question to learn more…
Q: What is Agriturismo?
Agriturismo, a combination of the Italian words for “agriculture” and “tourism,” is a style of vacationing in scenic rural farm areas. Italians are particularly proud of their agricultural traditions, especially cheese, wine and olive making, and we’ll teach you about the history and production of these delights, while tasting everything local, organic and purely Italian. It’s a foodie and nature lover’s heaven!
